Wiltshire Wet Leos run at least one “Have a Go” day each season for people who have
never been water training before or for people who currently are not members of WWL
or similar club and would like the opportunity to work their dogs.
“Have a Go” days are a great way to get to know members of the club before joining
but also to get some time in the water with your dog to see if water training is
for you and your dog.
You don’t have to have a Leonberger to join in the fun! As full members we currently
have a wired haired Hungarian Vizla (Poppy) and a Spanish Water Dog (Mocca) both
have successfully passed their A test and currently working towards their B. See
Diary Dates for this years “Have a Go” Days. Spaces are limited and will be based
on first come first accepted policy. To reserve a place an application form along
with the fee will be required N.B. We no longer accept payment on the day due to
non shows and non payment last year. Forms will be made available on the info page
two months prior to the “Have a Go” day.
